It's a time for changing,
For movement,
For something,
For taking that rough thing,
And finding the diamond.
Facets of refraction,
Reflection on why things are passing so fast,
In front of your eyes.
Why you wake up surprised,
That the world is still turning,
That waking's still worth it.
There's something that hurts,
And you're not sure how long you can take it.
Aching change happens at a rate you don't expect,
And struggle to accept,
But you're along for the ride,
And today, with eyes wide,
You'll step in to the breach,
And face it head on,
As live moves along,
You'll change,
Pass the test,
It's as good as a rest.
